Yesterday the day was all about hanging out with one of my best friends in the world. I don’t get to see him that often because he’s living in London, but that doesn’t matter. Things never change between us. I love that.

I’ll tell you all about our adventures another time because today it’s all about brunch!

We went to this place called Pois, café. It’s an austrian café located in Lisbon, near the Lisbon Cathedral.
This is one of my fav spots to have brunch in Lisbon right now. It’s cosy and inviting. The food is consistently good and the staff is nice.

As you can see in the photos there’s also something else that makes this a special place. There are books all over the café that you can take and read while you’re there, while you drink some tea and/or eat a slice of one of the amazing cakes and pies they offer.

  • I love the watercolor menu! (And I also think that taking books to read during your stay is wonderful. Do you ever find food residue on the books, though?)

    • I actually have never taken a book because I always go with friends so there’s a lot of talking and not a whole lot of reading! But I’d think that if they found something like that they would just remove the book!

  • i love the idea of this cafe! how great that you can go in and read and relax by yourself! but going with an old friend and eating and drinking all that delicious stuff sounds even better! great pictures!

  • Está na minha lista de brunches a fazer! E agora com este post aguçaste a minha vontade de lá ir!
