6 months!
So, six months ago my best friend got married and I had the privilege of being the wedding photographer. I gotta tell ya, it was the most fun I’ve ever had while at work! haha I wasn’t stressed at all. It was a small but classy affair and we had tons of fun.
Congrats to Filipa and Paulo, here’s to maaaany more months! ![]()
Below are some of the photos I took. I hope you like them, because I sure do!
Girls day out.
Last Friday my best friend and I had a girls day out. Well, more like a girls afternoon out but we’ll take what we can get. We aren’t together as much as we’d like these days but such is life.
We had a delicious lunch (we’re both foodies and love to try new foods) at a restaurant in Lisbon called Fábulas. Unfortunately I didn’t take pics of the food because it was just too dark. But anyway, it’s a great place to hang out for a few hours, talking to a friend. And the food was amazing!
After lunch we just hung out and talked non stop. You know you really like being with someone when, no matter how many times you’re together, there’s always something to talk about, and it’s never boring.
Tattoo & Rock Fest 2011
Yesterday was the last day of the Tattoo and Rock Festival here in Lisbon. I couldn’t go the first two days so I HAD to go to the last one.
I saw a lot of stuff I liked and cried inside a little for not having money right now because I would’ve walked out of there with a tattoo. But that’s ok, I did some research and saw a couple of portuguese tattoo artists that could make great things with my ideas for future tattoos. Money saving mode is on.
LDN – Second Week.
The second week in London was very different from the first. The weather was much better this time around and I spent pretty much all the time playing tourist with my friends.
I actually really dislike being a tourist, but I know some places are worth visiting. Plus, things weren’t too planned so I was ok with that. We basically just went “Oh, lets go there today!” And that’s how my friends and I got lost a lot. But I saw some beautiful places because of that so I don’t mind at all!
I took a lot of photos as always, here’s a (huge) sample of them. Enjoy.
Brighton
Alright, let’s continue with the London posts! Except this one isn’t exactly about London. On my second weekend in England my friend Fábio and I headed veeery early in the morning to Brighton. We spent the weekend with other friends that live there.
I’d never been to Brighton and I gotta say, it looks like a great place to live. It’s quiet, but not too quiet, lots of young people and cool places to hang out.
Fábio had been there many times before so he showed me around.
Honestly, that weekend is kind of a blur. We hung out, ate delicious meals, went to the karaoke (where I fell asleep!! no joke), visited shops, slept on a couch (pretty comfortable I might add, or maybe I was too tired?), ate more delicious meals, took lots of photos, etc. It was fun to take a little break from all the London chaos.
Enjoy the photos!
