Today is Mother’s Day in Portugal so this is dedicated to my mom, because she truly is the best ever and has A LOT of patience to put up with me! Love you Mom!

Has it been a month?! Where did the time go, can somebody tell me?
Let’s see how I did with my April goals.

Read two books. Failed miserably. I started a new book and I’m still reading through it. I did buy 5 books a couple of weeks ago so when those come I’ll sure be busy!

Go to the gym at least 3 times a week. I did pretty good. Some weeks I didn’t go 3 times but I went to the gym every week this month which is a major improvement!

Update my resumé. Let’s just move on.

Start organizing things for my first solo photo show. It’s still a baby concept but I’m working on it.

Go on a photowalk once a week. Of course as soon as I wrote these words the weather decided to change and we’ve had rain rain rain since. I did go on a couple of photowalks but that’s it. Where are you sun?

Spring clean. I’m proud to announce I did AMAZING on this one. My room is completely different and I threw out/gave away sooo much stuff. Yay!

So that was an ok month, right? Decent at least.

Here are my May goals:

Read two books. Yeah, I’ll try this one again, because I’m stubborn!

Eat healthy, 6 days a week. I’ve spent the last few months indulging A LOT. Brunches with friends and family, pizza, nutella, everything I could get my hands on really. It wasn’t pretty (but man, did it taste gooood). So now my body is definitely screaming for vegetables and lighter meals. I would also like my pants to fit again!

Update my resumé. *blushes*

Find a couple of interesting projects to work on. I need new challenges. And money.

Don’t.Shop.Online. This madness has to stop haha

Go out more. Because I do stay on my own little world when I absolutely know there are people that actually want to be with me. Let’s kick this anxiety to the curb. Or try to.

Today was such a beautiful day in Lisbon I couldn’t resist going out for a walk. I didn’t have my camera with me but I had my phone so that had to do. May have gotten a little carried away (oh yeah, there are a lot more photos haha) but sometimes I just forget how amazing and beautiful my city is. It’s always fun walking around and trying to look at things in a different way.
Oh, and that last photo. When I got home I saw I’d received a package with a dress I ordered a couple of weeks ago. I think it looks pretty cute. Who else tries on their clothes immediately after getting them in the mail? It’s impossible to wait!

These have been my days. I’ve been pretty busy, between editing photos, (trying to) work and dealing with some personal stuff. Y’know, life. I haven’t been taking that many photos with my DSLR, but I’ve made it a point to use my phone to sort of document some of my daily life.
As you see there’s been a lot of delicious food (I’ll come back to that on another post, later this week), spending time with the fam, etc. Nothing too extraordinary.
I’m getting antsy for the arrival of real Spring. Sun, beautiful days, dresses! I think I’ll have to wait till May though.

April Goals

So, I know I’m seriously late (first, because it’s APRIL, and second, because it’s the 10th) but I was reading Carina’s blog and thinking: “Yeah! I should totally do a monthly goal list too!”

I’ve been meaning to do this for a while but as we all know, I put the PRO in procrastination.

Thing is I do believe making these lists will help me work towards certain things. I guess it has to do with the fact that if you choose perfectly reasonable and doable goals, there’s really no excuse not to do it. And there’s no getting discouraged which sometimes, with big ass goals, I do.

There’s nothing like a bit of self-improvement!

Read two books. I’ve been getting back into reading after a couple of years of not being able to concentrate long enough to read one book. I’m taking it slow (obviously) but it’s a good thing.

Go to the gym at least 3 times a week. Not much to say about this one, it is what it is.

Update my resumé. Again, totally stolen from Carina, but I’ve been procrastinating on this for a long time. DO IT, DIANA.
